Is a 1-channel isolated barrier designed for intrinsic safety applications. It supplies 2-wire SMART transmitters in hazardous areas and can also be used with 2-wire SMART current sources. The device transfers analog input signals to the safe area as isolated current values. Digital signals may be superimposed on the input signal in the hazardous or safe area and are transferred bi-directionally. Selectable output of current source, sink mode, or voltage output is available via DIP switches. The device features a housing width of 12.5 mm and complies with SIL 2 (SC 3) according to IEC/EN 61508. It includes integrated test sockets for HART communicators and provides a 24 V DC supply via Power Rail.
