SEW‑EURODRIVE USM21A is an interface adapter designed for connecting an engineering PC via USB (type B) to a diagnostic slot on SEW‑EURODRIVE devices. It supports USB 2.0 (also USB 3.0 compatible), and adapts to either RS‑485 or CAN bus communications via an RJ10 socket. The delivery includes the adapter, a USB A-to-B cable, and an RJ10‑to‑RJ10 interface cable. LEDs indicate RS‑485 (green), CAN (blue), and error states (red).
